While there was initial interest in Pep Guardiola, no further progress has been made, and the Manchester City manager is not currently an active candidate. Despite his admiration from FA senior figures, Guardiola remains focused on his current role at Manchester City.

FA technical director John McDermott is reportedly keen on a manager with a proven track record of success, and Tuchel fits the bill perfectly. Having won league titles with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, as well as the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup with Chelsea, Tuchel’s credentials make him the top contender.
No Compensation Required for Bayern Munich
