Last seen on September 27, Rojin Kabaiş, a student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University’s Department of Preschool Education, had told her friends she was heading to the beach to collect pebbles. However, since that day, there has been no news from her.

Previously, Kabaiş’s phone, earphones, and some snacks were found on the beach, and since then, search operations have been ongoing both in the lake and along the shore.

The Van Lake Coast Guard Group Command, Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Provincial Police Department’s Marine Staff and Navigation Services Bureau, along with the Underwater Group Command and AFAD divers, are continuing their efforts to search the lake’s depths using underwater imaging devices.

The search for the young woman, who has been missing for days, continues across Turkey’s 81 provinces, especially in Van.

CADAVER DOG REACTED IN THAT AREA!

While reeds near the campus beach and abandoned structures in Bardakçı District were examined, a cadaver dog reacted at the campus beach. After this reaction, a metal detector was brought to the area.

NEW CLUE ABOUT MISSING ROJIN…

The teams meticulously scanned the area with the detector, and some spots were dug up. However, no trace of Rojin has been found so far. The search continues…
